It will not be long before we see a mainstream model from Porsche, for the company is right now in the process of developing a new model that will rival the likes of BMW 5 Series, Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6.
This new car will be a smaller version of the company’s super luxurious Panamera, but it will be downsized a lot to make it more affordable. Styling is expected to be similar to the Panamera’s with subtle changes to distinguish it from its bigger sibling. Porsche will utilise Volkswagen’s next generation of MSB platform. However, the company will develop its own rearwheel and all-wheel drive systems.
Porsche will also launch a coupé version of this new car.
