The new BMW 320i gets launched in India as a CBU

Powered by the two-litre twin turbo petrol engine rated to deliver 184 PS and a maximum torque of 270 Nm available from 1,350 to 4,600 RPM, the new 320i accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and is capable of a 235 km/h top speed. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission which ensures tractability at any speed and smooth gear shifts.

The BMW 320i is available in two variants, Prestige and Luxury Line. The 320i Prestige retails at Rs 36.9 lakh, while the 320i Luxury Line retails at Rs 42.7 lakh. The Luxury Line variant gets larger 17-inch wheels to the Prestige’s 16 inchers, several options for leather interior upholstery and exclusive Jatoba metallic paintwork, while the Prestige variant is available in Alpine White as a non-metallic colour, with Black Sapphire and Imperial Blue Brilliant Effect as metallic colours.

These CBU cars will be sold alongside the diesel-powered 320d, which is locally produced in Chennai.
