MERCEDES-BENZ INDIA ARE gearing up to launch a new variant of theE-Class, called the E 220 CDI, with a view to attracting more customers and tackling the growing competition.
Our friends at motorbeam.com caught the car being tested under heavy camoufl age in Pune recently. The new E 220 CDI uses the same 2,143-cc engine that powers the E 250 CDI.
However, in the E 220 CDI the engine will deliver less power and torque compared to the E 250 CDI. Although the details are not yet know, we expect the price of the new car to be in the range of Rs 37-40 lakh.
