In this vein, Mercedes-Benz are complimenting the Indian Grand Prix excitement with the launch of two of their most iconic brands in the Indian market, namely the C-Class and E-Class with the sports edition tag.
The C-Class & E-Class sedans gets an all new AMG style kit which are perfectly complimented with sporty alloys and a sportier black top roof. The C-Class and E-Class Sport Editions house a 4 cylinder 2143cc engine which is capable of producing an output of 172 PS @ 3000-4200 rpm and a rated torque of 400 Nm @ 1400-2800 rpm.
The flagship sedans were launched by Mr. Peter Honegg, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India. Mr. Peter Honegg stated, “The degree of customization offered by Mercedes-Benz is unmatched by any other player in the segment. The launch of C-Class and E-Class Sport Edition is yet another step and a testimony to our quest to deliver products that offer distinctiveness, individualization and sportiness – characteristics that define Mercedes-Benz customers of present day.”
The C-Class “Sport” to be priced at Rs. 29.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the E-Class “Sport” to be priced at Rs. 39.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
