Performance tuners, Mansory have announced performance upgrades for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG in the form of the M720 and M900 packages indicating 720 PS and 900 PS. Changes indicate a full-fledged stage 3 performance upgrade which includes re-work of the engine, exhaust and re-caliberating the turbo. The 5.5-litre V8 twin turbo engine will offer 720 PS on demand at 5,500 RPM and a massive 1,100 Nm torque starting as early as 1600 all the way up to 5,500 RPM. Upgrades will be available for coupé and saloon versions.
The M900 kit includes revised internals like connecting rods, bearings, and a lighter crank and turbo which help extract that whopping 900 PS at 5,700 RPM in contrast to the stock 585 PS. Torque figures stand at a colossal 1,300 RPM between 1,600 and 5700 RPM which has been electronically limited. 100 km/h is achieved in 3.3 seconds with a top whack of electronically limited 300 km/h.
In addition to this, aesthetic changes are also offered in the package which includes alloys wheels and revised interiors.
