Mahindra & Mahindra are reinventing themselves, introducing new products in different segments of the automotive market like the KUV100 and the TUV300. Taking a step further, Mahindra have decided to showcase the XUV Aero – a coupé inspired from the XUV500 – at the Auto Expo in Delhi from 3-5 February 2016.

Mahindra recently released a teaser image of the XUV Aero coupé concept: what could be one of their sportiest vehicles yet. Based on the silhouette seen in the image, it does look a lot like the BMW X6 and the Mercedes GLE Coupé, and this will be the first of its kind from and Indian manufacturer.

The XUV Aero sports the XUV500 lines and flared wheel arches, but what is noticeably different is the sloping roofline giving it a sporty appeal. The rear features a set of horizontal tail-lamps and a muscular bumper. Not much can be see up front, but one can expect similar styling to the XUV500.

Mahindra have not disclosed any specifications as of now, but one can expect the Aero to come with the company’s latest 140-PS 2.0-litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine.
