Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today launched the limited edition Fortuner TRD Sportivo to capitalise on the festive buzz.
The new edition has been designed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) and will be available in a 4×4 MT variant.
New features of the Fortuner TRD Sportivo include an aerodynamically designed dual tone front and rear bumper spoiler, side body stripe with TRD engraving, rear roof spoiler, radiator grille with a TRD emblem, and a TRD Sportivo emblem at the rear. The 3.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine has remained untouched. TKM will sell only 400 exclusive units of the Fortuner TRD Sportivo till the end of December 2013. The new edition will be available in Super White and Silver Mica Metallic colors and is priced at Rs 24.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Speaking about the launch, Sandeep Singh, DMD and COO, TKM said that the limited edition Fortuner aims to bring in some newness to the Fortuner brand, which has been the segment leader with sales crossing 54,000 units. Along with the launch of the new Innova and the limited edition Etios and Liva, the company believes that the festive season would indeed be very special for its customers.
