When you think about Italy, the first thing which comes to a car-enthusiast’s mind is a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, while some might say a Maserati, but what if we say the word Icona?
You are sure to put your thinking caps on for this. One of the less prolific Italian design firms, Icona have revealed their new supercar concept at the ongoing Shanghai Motor Show.
The concept supercar houses a V12 producing an astronomical 920 PS of power. The other unique feature of the Vulcano is that it has been paired with an electric-motor synchronized single-clutch automatic gearbox. The makers claims that with this setup, the car is capable of doing a 0-100 sprint in just 2 seconds! Now that pretty fast even by supercar standards. Icona will also be manufacturing a smaller V6 based concept. As of now, nothing has been officially stated regarding whether this beast will get to see the light of production, but if it dose so expect it burn a mammoth hole in your pocket.
