Hyundai India have introduced a better-equipped Elite i20 and Verna, making them even more value for money and, of course, much safer.
The Elite i20 and i20 Active now get dual front airbags as standard across the range, highlighting the increasing importance given to safety; something sorely lacking until recently. The Elite i20 also inherits the projector headlamps with cornering lights from the Active, albeit in higher trim lines. The good news is that the safety features have been incorporated without affecting the entry price, making it even better value.
The Fluidic Verna 4S also gets safety and tech updates with changes to the warranty too for complete peace of mind. Dual front airbags and ABS with EBD are now offered as standard across all variants. Six airbags are optional on higher trims. A new seven-inch touchscreen audio-video-navigation unit is also offered, together with a shark-fin antenna. The limited warranty now covers the car for three years/unlimited km.
