The build-up to the 12th Auto Expo has started off with a bang with Ford India showcasing an all new sub-four metre sedan concept – the 2015 Ford Figo. This new concept is quite a looker with its aggressive front-end, futuristic headlamps and refreshed styling which follows the global family face. The car might be less than four metres long, but the wheels have been pushed to the ends to maximise cabin space with minimal overhang.
Official sources close to Ford have also revealed that the automobile giants might infuse their famous Sync technology into it along with a host of new features like Internet radio and a navigation system. No technical information has been shared with the public as yet. However, there is a strong speculation that the Concept might feature Ford’s award-winning 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine. If it does see production soon, we can also expect to see a TDCi diesel motor under the hood.
The new Ford Figo will grace the company’s stall at the Expo and we might just expect Ford to throw more light upon the technical details of the Figo Concept there. Stay tuned for more.
