The car now sports a new HUD, followed by a few cosmetic updates as well
Toyota Kirloskar Motors have launched the facelifted Glanza in India from a starting price of Rs 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in four trim levels and seven variants with the E being the most affordable with a manual transmission all the way to the Glanza V AMT, priced at Rs 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
In terms of aesthetic updates, the Glanza now gets a revised face with sleeker headlamps, bumpers (front and back) and a revised tail unit as well. The fog-lamps have been tweaked as well. Another notable change is the sporty, new 16-inch alloy wheels.
The bigger changes are on the inside of the Glanza, with a posh two-tone leather combination for the interior, a new nine-inch infotainment display and of course the heads-up display we’ve already seen in the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Additionally, depending upon the variant, the Glanza also gets up to six airbags.
Previously, the Glanza would get a pair of 1.2-litre engine options: 83 hp and 113 Nm or a unit with an ISG making 90 hp and 113 Nm. However, for the new model, Toyota have retained only the latter. The Glanza can be had either with a five-speed manual gearbox or an AMT gearbox as well.
