Ever since the new Swift broke ground, there has been a buzz in the Indian market. Potential customers and Swift fanboys (the Maruti, not the pop singer) have been eagerly awaiting its launch in India. While that may take some time, Maruti Suzuki have already launched the new DZire.
The new DZire is the third generation of the popular compact sedan. While the new model features a lot of additions, one of the biggest changes to the car is its badging. The new car will not carry the ‘Swift DZire’ name anymore and will simply be known as the ‘DZire’. Read our launch story of the 2017 Maruti Suzuki DZire to have a fair idea about what the newbie is packing before it goes up against its rivals. Let’s take a look at how the car fares against the competition on paper. Please note that we have compared all the top-end variants of each car and equipment levels in the lower variants will vary.
