The event provides a platform for aspiring automotive engineers to flaunt their competencies, and opens up opportunities for them in their chosen field
Mahindra & Mahindra and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) have today announced the commencement of the 2017 edition of the Baja SAE India. The organisers also announced the eBaja series, to coincide with the onset of electric mobility in India.
Almost 200 teams form engineering colleges all over India will participate in next year’s event, to design, build and race small off-road vehicles during the event which will be held near Indore. Last Year’s winners, the team from Pune’s College of Engineering, were also present, and they gave us an idea of the effort that goes into making a winner.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra said, “Mahindra is delighted to be associated with Baja SAE India 2017 as the title sponsor.
