Rush is an upcoming American biopic which is based on a true story revolving around the 1976 F1 season, showcasing the rivalry between former F1 stars James Hunt and Niki Lauda.
The plot of the film throws light on the turn of events which took place after a catastrophic crash at the 1976 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring that could have killed F1 driver Niki Lauda, played by actor Daniel Brühl, and how he returns to face his rival James Hunt, played by Chris Hemsworth, in their pursuit of the 1976 World Championship at Fuji. This is one biopic which surely is a must watch for every motorsports enthusiast. Rush is due to be released on September 20, 2013 worldwide.
