The premium hatchback Tata Altroz has been launched at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. A decent price for the Altroz which should indeed heighten the company already brilliant stance in India.
Pricing for the car starts at Rs 5.29 lakh for the XE base petrol variant and goes up to Rs 7.69 lakh for the XZ (O). Diesels start at Rs 6.99 lakh upto Rs 9.29 lakh. All of these are ex-showroom prices. The cars will also have customization options available across the board.
The car has also earned itself a Five Star safety rating by the Global New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), becoming the second Indian car to do so, and continuing the tradition of Tata Motors making safe cars that earn high safety ratings.
In addition, the Tata Tiago and Tigor have both received 4-star ratings from Global NCAP, making Tata even more proud of their products. Both cars will also receive new upgrades for 2020.
This is a big deal for Tata Motors. The company which deserves proper congratulations and it sure has made all of us quite happy. Safety is an important aspect for vehicles and the need of the hour and a proper five-star rating is the best of the best. Rather deserving if you ask us.
We hope that Tata Motors continues to produce cars at this level which, in turn, will help the Indian car manufacturers succeed even further. To read about how the new Tata Altroz performs, read our first-drive review right here: New Tata Altroz First Drive Review
