The 2020 Hyundai Tucson was shown on the first day of the Auto Expo taking place in Delhi.
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson builds on its predecessor with more equipment and BS VI-compliant poweertrains.
The new Tucson now comes with a 2.0-litre, BS-VI petrol engine with 152 hp and 192 Nm, with the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine with 185 hp and 400 Nm now also BS VI-compliant. The new Hyundai Tucson also comes with a four-wheel drive option with automatic traction cornering control (ATCC).
The 2020 Hyundai Tucson is engineered to deliver excellence with a premium and bold styling, dominant performance, smart technology and features. It now comes with new Penta-Projector LED headlights and LED tail-lights. A cascade design bold front grill giving a stronger appeal to the front. It also has a twin-tip exhaust enhancing the sporty stance of the car along with the panoramic sunroof. The new Tucson boasts of smart technology features to make driving pleasurable with a new tyre pressure monitoring system, smart power tailgate, electric parking gate, first in segment power seats ( passenger- 8 way) and Hyundai blue link and a wireless charger. The car has a 20.32cm HD touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and voice recognition.
The new Hyundai Tucson has a strong body structure with 70 per cent Advanced High-strength Steel. The car has six airbags with pre-tensioners and load-limiter, side and curtain airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, Downhill Brake Control, Brake Assist, front and rear parking sensors. It also comes with Hyundai Premium Assurance Program (HPAP) with Wonder Warranty (up to five years) for the complete peace of mind for its customers.
The HPAP offers three-years/30,000-km free maintenance, Blue Link/Map Subscription, Road Side Assistance and Premium Care Visit whereas Wonder Warranty further enhances hassle-free ownership experience with the option of three-year/unlimited-km or four-year/60,000-km or five-year/50,000-km warranty, as per the need of the customer.
