Renault India have introduced the 2015 model of the Pulse hatchback from Rs 5.03 lakh.
The updated Renault Pulse is the first launch of the new year, with Renault looking to strengthen their presence in the Indian market. The extremely competitive hatchback market has seen many new contenders and Renault haven’t been sitting by idly watching the action unfold; they’re a part of it.
The 2015 Pulse now begins at Rs 5.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top-of-the-line RxZ model will offer a plethora of safety and entertainment options, which would make it a serious option to consider, in both petrol and diesel guises. Notable among these features are automatic headlamps, automatic wing mirrors, a height-adjustable driver seat, crash sensors, standard ABS with EBD and dual SRS airbags.
Inside, the top-end Pulse gets a new dual-tone dashboard, with a smooth piano-black finish in the centre console. It will also receive a smart key with lock/unlock and well as button-start. A 2DIN audio system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity steering-mounted controls is also being offered.
As far as powertrains go, the Pulse will continue with the 1.2-litre three-pot petrol motor with 76 PS and 104 Nm of torque, paired to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic. The renowned 1.5-litre K9K four-cylinder turbo-diesel continues, with 65 PS and a fat and flat 160 Nm of torque, paired with the 5-speed manual only.
The 2015 Pulse is available at Renault dealers around the country now.
