Celebrating one lakh sales of their compact SUV Nexon, Tata have launched a limited edition model called the Nexon KRAZ. This car will be offered in manual and AMT variants priced at Rs 7.57 lakh and Rs 8.17 lakh respectively; both prices are ex-showroom.
The major difference on this limited edition is the exterior. The KRAZ features tangerine highlights on a black base offering a rather interesting paint scheme. Other changes include a silver colour roof and KRAZ badging on the tailgate. Complementing the new look on the outside, the interiors have also been spiced up to offer a sporty appeal. Among liberal use of piano black finishing there are tangerine highlights in areas like the air vents and seat stitching.
Mechanically, nothing has changed. The KRAZ will continue to be powered by 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo-diesel and 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engines. The Revotron makes 110 hp and 170 Nm while the Revotorq dishes out 110 hp and 260 Nm. The engines are mated either to a six-speed manual or AMT.
