The Range Rover Evoque will enter India at the start of 2012, after its global debut in mid 2011.
Speaking to the media, Managing Director and CEO of Tata Motors, Carl Peter Forster said the car would be brought into India probably early next year.
As per Indian demands and to stand apart in a rapidly growing auto market, the Tata-owned British luxury car maker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has been planning to bring smaller and fuel-efficient models locally, especially to meet the requirements of target customers. Right now the Range Rover Evoque, which is a luxury-SUV and projects a fuel economy of 21kmpl and 120g/km CO2 emissions, will be introduced this year in major auto markets like UK and US. Globally the brand plans to launch a smaller sedan
