Renault India today inaugurated a 50,000 sq ft. facility in Pune that will be the company’s International Parts Centre.
This facility will serve as the base for storage and supply of vehicle parts from local vendors. These parts will then be fitted in Nissan-Renault’s global alliance products. On this occasion Marc Nassif, managing director Renault India said “The IPC in Pune is an integral part of Renault India’s efforts towards providing customers across the globe with competitive parts, With the IPC, we can leverage not just the presence of competitive suppliers in India, but also benefit from savings through volume consolidation – a strategy that enables localization and affordability, while also leveraging the high standards of quality offered by our supply partners in the country.”
