Finals scheduled for Oct 1 in New Delhi
THE RED BULL RACING CAN 2011 ISreally revving up for the fi nals. Red Bull organised the mini F1 remote-controlled car event in Pune recently.
In the Pune region, the Indira School of Communication’s team, Silver Strider, represented by Rayomand Buhariwala and Yazad Bharucha, registered the best time at the IRBC Championship at the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies.
In Mumbai, Vaishnavi Pathare and Dhairya Zaveri of the Red Riding Bulls of the Mumbai University won the Mumbai leg, while Harshit Jain and Anshul Kapoor of Street Hawk from the IIT, New Delhi, won the Delhi leg.
The IRBC national fi nals will be held in New Delhi on October 1, with teams from Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata battling it out for the title of the fastest mini F1 remote-controlled car in the country.
The racing fans cheered the teams competing on a set course with their custom-built remote-controlled cars, made from Red Bull cans, testing their wits on the race-tracks along with the design and technicalities of the car.
