Nissan Motor Co Ltd recently unveiled their soon-to-be-launched sedan, the Sunny, in the country.
Based on Nissan’s new ‘V’ (for versatile) platform, the 10th-generation Sunny will be launched with a 1.5-litre petrol engine capable of producing about 107 PS of power and will vie with the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento and Ford Fiesta. The car will be manufactured at the same Chennai plant of the company, where currently the Micra is being produced. The Sunny is expected to be launched in the country within the next couple of months and there is no word so far about its price.
