Mazda revealed the all-new crossover SUV, the CX-3 which makes its début at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The CX-3 is the fifth model in Mazda’s 2015 line-up of new generation cars, which features the company’s SKYACTIV technology along with a stylish KODO – Soul of Motion design.
The Mazda CX-3 will come with a choice of three engines: the SKYACTIV-G, 2.0-litre petrol engine in two states of tune and the new SKYACTIV-D, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel engine. The company will also offer the six-speed SKYACTIV-Drive automatic and SKYACTIV-MT (manual transmission) either with front-wheel drive or with Mazda’s new-generation all-wheel drive system.
The other highlights in the CX-3 include the company’s latest i-ACTIVSENSE active safety systems, lightweight SKYACTIV-Body and the MZD Connect in-car connectivity systems.
Along with the CX-3, Mazda will also display the 2015 CX-5, Mazda6, and the MX-5. The CX-3 is set for its global launch in Japan in 2015, and we wish to see it on Indian shores.
