The Paris Motor Show is much like the Paris Fashion Week, a perfect blend of glitz, glamor and entertainment, although the object of desire are neither the clothes nor the models, but four-wheeled beauties. Like this all-new Jaguar Motors F-type.

The British automotive marquee revealed the car in front of a dramatic setting of the 18th century Musée Rodin, with singer Lana Del Rey enthralling audiences with a live performance of her new track ‘Burning Desire’ specially composed for the F- Type.

The Jaguar F-type is a twin-seat convertible sports car focused on delivering performance, agility and maximum driver reward. Jaguar have also revealed that the car will come in three variants F-type, F-Type S, which will be powered by an all new 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine producing 340PS and 380PS respectively, while the F-type V8 S variant will be powered with a beastly 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine producing 495PS.

The high-end V8S version is also capable of achieving a top speed of 300 kmph. The F-type is constructed around Jaguar’s acclaimed lightweight aluminium architecture technology with an all aluminium front-engined and rear-wheel drive unit, making the F-type engineered to deliver pure dynamic driving reward along with stunning performance.

The F-type is a continuation of a sporting bloodline that stretches back more than 75 years and encompasses some of the most beautiful, thrilling and desirable cars ever built like the Jaguar E-Type.
