Hyundai have launched the recently unveiled new i20, called the i-Gen, which closely follows the company’s ‘Fluidic design’ philosophy.
The i-Gen gets an all-new hexagonal front grille and headlights and tail-lights in a new shape. However, there is no change in the engine options. The company has also revised the price of the i-Gen i20 and the range now begins at Rs 4.73 lakh for the Era variant, powered by the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. The petrol variants cost between Rs 4.73 lakh and Rs 66.58 lakh, while diesel variants range from Rs 5.96 lakh to Rs 7.44 lakh and automatic will now cost Rs 7.67 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). The top-of-the-line variant comes with more features like automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, push button start and reverse camera.
