Honda have confirmed that their highly anticipated super-compact, the Fit – better known in India as the new Jazz – will officially make its debut at the beginning of September.
Packaged as one of the most efficient hybrid of the Japanese manufacturers, the Fit has been alloted its very own microsite on the company’s official website: www.honda.co.jp.
As per the details revealed on the Fit website, the new offering will feature adaptive headlights, all-digital centre cluster, touch-sensitive controls for the air conditioning, like the Acura models, and a large infotainment display oriented towards the driver. The spacious hatchback will be available in an array of 11 body colour. Officials at Honda Cars, Japan have neither revealed the pricing nor the cars global launch date.
We expect the car to make it to India soon after its global debut. We also expect Honda to offer both, the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motors. Stay tuned for more news as it happens.
