First showcased at the recently concluded 2014 Auto Expo show in Noida, FIAT India launched its new, updated version of the Linea Sedan in the Capital today.
The new Linea sports an all new front and rear exterior styling along with revised new interiors. FIAT has given the 2014 version a reworked bumper, grille and fog lamp housing. There is an option of 16-inch alloys too, while 15-inch wheels come as standard.
The rear of the new Linea also sports a repositioned number plate along with chrome detailing on the trunk. The interior of the car sports an all new dual-tone dashboard layout, leather upholstery, new instrument cluster, illuminated glove box and an array of other interior changes.
The good news however is that FIAT have priced this 2014 Linea at the same price as that of its old avatar. The Linea is now available in two versions with 1.4-litre T- Jet Petrol and 1.3-litre Advance Multijet Diesel engine options available. FIAT will continue to offer both the Linea T-Jet and Multijet are available in three trim levels – Active, Dynamic and the top end Emotion. Base Linea T-Jet gets ABS while ABS and two airbags come as standard in the two higher variants for both engines.
Prices for the new FIAT Linea start at Rs 6,99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi)
