The BMW M6 Gran Coupé has already set a new benchmark with the flawless balance of power, dynamics, comfort and luxury that is typical of M models. The new BMW M6 Gran Coupé reinstates the leadership of BMW M GmbH in the high-performance luxury segment.”

BMW have also made further inroads into their financing options in India, by ramping up investment in BMW Financial Services, India to Rs 640 crore. Under the BMW Financial Services banner, BMW provides services such as car finance, lease, insurance (as corporate agent) and dealer finance as well. BMW Financial Services for prospective buyers provides custom payment plans, offers, quick approvals and loyalty benefits.

Speaking about the investment, Dr. Stefan David Schlipf, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, BMW Financial Services India said, “BMW Financial Services India has successfully established itself as the leading provider of customized financing solutions and premium services and the new investment will help us in further enhancing our portfolio. This investment reinforces BMW Group’s long-term commitment to India which is an important market for us. We are dedicated to provide a ‘complete brand experience’ to our customers, be it in terms of tactical delivery of products or service quality.”
That’s not all, as BMW recently launched their signature M Studio in India as well. The first one has been established in Mumbai, with more to follow in a number of metros across the nation – Delhi, Bengaluru,

Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. We’ll let Herr von Sahr explain the M Studio concept in his own words; “Born on the racetrack, at home on every road – that’s the credo of M automobiles. M is an attitude. For generations, BMW M cars have proven their mettle in the world of performance. M cars have multi-faceted characters that endear them to individuals who demand a unique combination of dynamics, extraordinary sportiness, comfort and everyday suitability. The ‘BMW M Studio’ is designed to cater to the needs of a niche clientele – one that does not believe in playing by the rules. It is a place where the BMW fans can explore the fascinating world of M. The dynamic product range and an unmatched premium experience will bring these customers closer to the M brand.”

Looks like BMW are taking the Indian market more seriously than ever before, judging by all these launches and initiatives, and this can only be a good thing for the highly competitive premium car segment in India. Long may it continue.
