New summer tyre for Europe makes début in Geneva
APOLLO TYRES RECENTLY announced the launch of their new tyre, called Aspire 4G, for the European market at the Geneva Motor Show 2012.
The tyre makers have already met with immense success in both winter and summer tyre segments for passenger vehicles in Europe and have now extended their range with the new Aspire 4G, which will be available in W and Y speed ratings. These speed ratings make sure that the Aspire 4G can be used for speeds up to 300 km/h.
The tyre will be manufactured in nine different sizes to make sure that it can be used on a number of vehicles from various segments.
The Aspire 4G features asymmetric design for superior handling in wet conditions, shorter braking distance and low road noise. The tyre also has a wide outer shoulder with narrow intermediate grooves for better contact in dry conditions.
Neeraj Kanwar, MD, Apollo Tyres, has said that though the tyre has been launched in Europe at present, it will also make an entry in other markets later on.
