Chelsea Football Club hasn’t being doing very well off late, what with a string of losses in league and cup and the manager, player, and even club doctor becoming embroiled in off-field issues besides. In fact, some football pundits claim they look a little tired on the field. All we can say is they’ll definitely look a lot more tyre-d from now on, because commercial partners Yokohama have launched a new set of kicks with the Chelsea logo on them. The BluEarth-A AE50 Chelsea FC Edition will be available in sizes 225/45R17 94W, 205/55R16 91V and 195/65R15 91H.
This tyre was launched to reaffirm Yokohama’s association with the London-based football titans originally signed in July 2015, which also sees Yokohama branding on the club’s jerseys and in-stadium branding.
The tyres will be released first in Japan on October 29th and then later released in Europe, Asia and South America. So Chelsea fans, if you need new rubber, you can get one that carries your team’s badge, who knows maybe this new wheel will turn the team’s fortunes around too!
