Volvo have showcased the V60 sport wagon, which comes with all-weather and all-road capabilities and is christened as the V60 Cross Country, at the 2014 LA Motor Show.
The V60 Cross Country is powered by Volvo’s in-house 2.0L, 4-cylinder, Drive-E-engine, producing 181 PS. The Cross Country will be available to buyers in both front and all-wheel drive choices, which include the D3 FWD, D4 FWD and D4 AWD. The prices and specifications will be revealed in the first quarter of 2015 and deliveries will commence in June.
Living up to its name, the V60 Cross Country will come with 18 or 19 inch high profile wheels, and a rugged design which includes front and rear skid plates, side scuff plates, bumper extenders, and integrated tailpipes, and a higher ground clearance.
According to Lex Kerssemakers, VP Product Strategy at Volvo, “ We are delighted to add the third Cross Country model to our portfolio. The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the V60 cross Country in a class of its own.”
