Toyota took the covers off its first ever crossover vehicle to make a foray in the Indian automotive market – the brand new Etios Cross.
The Etios Cross is available with the three engine options based on those available on the Liva hatch: a G-spec 1.2-litre petrol making 80 PS, a V-spec 1.5-litre petrol with 90 PS, and 1.4-litre D-4D Diesel making 68 PS.
Some exterior features include diamond cut alloys, roof rails, dynamic rear cladding with roof spoiler, and rear defogger with wiper. The Etios Cross has also addressed in-car safety with dual front SRS airbags and ABS with EBD, available on all grades, except the 1.2 G. The Cross comes in eight colours: Inferno Orange, Ultramarine Blue, Classic Grey, Symphony Silver, Celestial Black, White, Vermilion Red and Harmony Beige.
The Etios Cross range starts from Rs 5.76 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi) for the 1.2 G petrol, with the 1.5 V priced at Rs 7.35 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi). The GD diesel is priced at Rs 6.90 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi), with the top-spec VD priced at Rs 7.41 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi).
