Toyota Kirloskar India have introduced an updated version of the Etios sedan and have added more variants of the Etios Liva hatchback to the lineup.
The G and GD trims of the Etios sedan and Etios Liva hatchback receive new two-tone premium interior: a stylish textured dashboard, saft fabric and an ash brown colour scheme. While that’s about it for the sedan, the Etios Liva is what the big news is about. There are now two more trim levels at the top, the VD and VD SP, armed with the safety package. These variants will cater to the premium diesel hatchback market which has, over time, shown a reasonably interesting growth figure.
The added features include a double-DIN audio system with Bluetooth, AUX and USB connectivity as well as a remote control. The leather-wrapped wheel gets audio controls and a tilt function. The outside rear-view mirrors get integrated turn-indicators. A tachometer joins the console and on the safety front, the rear window gets a defogger and wiper and on the inside, there are dual front airbags.
N Raja, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said “We constantly work towards adding exciting and new features to our product line up with the aim of providing product excitement. We look forward to delighting our customers with the new line up.”
The Etios Liva range begins at Rs 4,53 lakh, while the Etios sedan starts from Rs 5.53 lakh, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi. The new variants are available across dealerships around the country.
