Land Rover are set to introduce a new top-end Evoque to the line-up – the Autobiography Dynamic – the most powerful version ever.

At the Geneva Motor Show next month, Land Rover will introduce the Evoque with an all-new trim level, which like the Evoque’s big brother, the Range Rover, will include all the goodies from the delectable Autobiography trim, while, we expect, retaining all its sporty and dynamic credentials while gaining those upgrades.

The engine in the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography Dynamic is still the 2.0-litre TDI four-cylinder petrol but now makes 285 PS and 400 Nm of torque, up from the 240 PS and 340 Nm of the standard petrol engine on offer. It is paired to the 9-speed ZF automatic transmission driving all four wheels. The new transmission can make use of ratios in a flexible way, allowing for outright acceleration or maximum economy, depending on the situation. The TerrainResponse2 system together with the upgraded chassis and suspension will ensure that the optimum control and ride quality are maintained no matter what the surface is like. It also features Torque Vectoring by Braking, further adding to stability while cornering.

On the inside, the Evoque Autobiography Dynamic gets even more exquisite. Apart from the evident increase in comfort levels, the addition of Land Rover InControl Apps, bringing the familiarity of smartphone apps to the car’s interface, together with its functionality.

The Range Rover Evoque, since its launch in 2011, has won 157 international awards for its combination of leading-edge design, striking interior craftsmanship, agile handling and off-road capability. Three years on, it continues to appeal to customers with more than 270,000 sales worldwide, making it the fastest-selling Land Rover of all time, raking in the moolah for Jaguar-Land Rover.
