Porsche have revealed the new 911 Carrera and Carrera S models with all-new turbocharged 3.0-litre flat-six motors.
The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic cars on the face of the Earth. No, not just sports cars ,but cars in general. It truly is a car you can use often, if not every day and isn’t the reserve of track-days. With changing time, even the signature car line from Stuttgart was long expected to shift to blown engines and, after much speculation, that time has come.
The all-new 911s feature some noticeable styling tweaks with new front bumpers and air dams, with a completely revised rear-end to boot. An engine cover with a vertically-slatted grille below the window points to the added air intake required for the new motor. The revised head-lamps and tail-lamps also make the detail list. However, its the changes under the skin which are indeed eye-opening.
There’s an all-new chassis, created to be even stiffer and more dynamic, for the best of both experiences. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is now standard, and has been re-engineered to lower the car by 10 mm further, making it even stickier and more agile. Also standard on every Carrera now are the sport seats, bi-xenon headlamps, P
