Renault’s popular Fluence sedan has been given a thorough makeover. The new Fluence sports an upgraded face with a reworked grille, daytime running lights, and projector headlamps. Interior upgrades include rear sun blinds, a digital readout, chrome controls and Arkamys 3D surround sound.
The K9K engine however is the same 110 PS, 240 Nm dCi as in the previous model which is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and comes equipped with cruise control. Safety on the Fluence is covered through front and side airbags and integrated ABS & EBD systems.
Speaking at the launch, Sumit Sawhney CEO and Managing Director, Renault India waxed lyrical about the Fluence’s finer aspects. He said, “ The New Renault Fluence offers bold styling and onboard features that are perfectly in line with the needs and aspirations of Indian customers. With drivers
increasingly looking for cars that project their personality and style, while at the same time, provide a comfortable and enjoyable ride, the New Renault Fluence makes a statement that cannot be ignored.”
The Fluence has been launched at Rs 13.99 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available in Renault showrooms across India.
