Maruti Suzuki are set to mark their presence in the Indian sedan segment by launching the Ciaz. The Ciaz comes with two engine options: a 1.4-litre, K14 petrol engine producing 92.5 PS and 130 Nm, and a 1.3-litre, DDiS200 diesel engine, which churns out 90 PS and 200 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with a optional 4-speed automatic transmission available with the petrol engine. Along with the peppy engines, the top-end Ciaz also offers features such as dual front air-bags, start button, comfortable cabin spacing at the front and rear, rear AC vents, projector headlamps, infotainment system, parking assist, ABS with EBD and 16-inch alloy wheels. Available in an array of colours, Maruti adds three new colours – Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Pearl Sangria Red and Pearl Snow White – to the colour palette.
