Maruti Suzuki welcome the festive season with the launch of the new Alto K10. The next-generation model features an array of design upgrades, new features, variants and colours.
The Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre, K-Next engine, producing 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The new K10 will also be available with an automated manual transmission (AMT) option, like in the Maruti Celerio.
Coming to the design, the new Alto K10 gets a major exterior facelift which features a chromed grille with the Suzuki logo sitting pretty, new headlamps, bonnet, body-coloured ORVMs, fog lamps and a new tail-lamps. The distinct shoulder line and side moulding add more visual character to the new car.
Along with the exterior, the interior has also been revamped giving the Alto K10 a new look and feel. It features a 3-spoke steering wheel, new instrument panel and silver-garnished door trims, gear knob and A-C louvres. The other highlights include key-less entry, headlamp warning buzzer, a digital clock, front power windows and an array of convenient utility storage spaces.
The new Alto K10 comes with three new colours – Tango Orange, Granite Grey and Cerulean Blue, which add up to a total of 6 paint options. The Alto K10 will be offered in six variants, including a CNG and AMT variant. The prices (ex-showroom, Delhi) are as follows:
LX – Rs 3.06 lakh
LXi – Rs 3.22 lakh
VXi – Rs 3.38 lakh
VXi (O) – Rs 3.57 lakh
VXi AMT – Rs 3.80 lakh
LXi CNG – Rs 3.82 lakh
With good fuel-efficiency and the added new features and design, Maruti Suzuki are set to further strengthen their stronghold on the small car segment in India.
