Lamborghini India have launched their all-new V10 supercar, the Huracán LP610-4, in the country at Rs 3.43 crore (ex-showroom).
The Huracán is set to fill the shoes of the Gallardo, which sold over 14,000 cars worldwide since its arrival in 2003. The Huracán is constructed from a hybrid aluminium and carbon-fibre chassis which houses an updated version of the 5.2-litre V10 seen earlier. The 90º V10 now features a combination of direct and indirect injection for improved efficiency, leading to an output of 610 PS at 8,250 RPM and 560 Nm and 6,500 RPM while complying with the strict Euro 6 emission standard. It weighs in at 1,422 kg complete with the LDF seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and intelligent all-wheel-drive system.
With those numbers, that’s 429 PS/tonne, it will hit 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds a go on to a top speed of over 325 km/h.
The rear-wheel drive only LP620-2 Super Trofeo racer was showcased recently, and we hope there’s a Strada model too.
