Honda Jazz 2
The incoming Honda Jazz facelift has been spotted testing. The current third generation Jazz has been on sale in India for nearly two years. What changes have been made on the new Jazz?

The Honda Jazz facelift has been spotted testing in Brazil under camouflage where the vehicle is sold as the Honda Fit. The new updated Jazz features a few cosmetic tweaks compared to the outgoing model. The new front bumper, new front grille and the updated LED headlamps complete the the look of the car. We expect the new Jazz to feature a new updated cabin with the addition of the Digipad, the new touchscreen infotainment system present in all new Honda vehicles like the City and WR-V.

While it gets the 90 PS 1.5-litre I-VTEC petrol engine in Brazil, we can expect the updated Jazz to pack the familiar 1.2-litre I-VTEC petrol engine which produces 88 PS and 110 Nm of torque here in India. With power going to the front wheels through either a five-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic gearbox (Continuous Variable Transmission). The other engine option is the 1.5-litre I-DTEC turbo-diesel motor which makes 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque which will be paired to a six-speed manual gearbox.

There is still no timeline as to when the next-generation Honda Jazz will hit the global marketplace, although we expect it to be available by 2018 and eventually making its way to the Indian shores soon after its global launch.
