The Ford GT got the entire automotive world excited at the prospect of a 600-PS GT storming the roads and the 24 Hours of Le Mans alike. More so, because it came from an evolution of the 3.5-litre V6 EcoBoost motor. However, what was revealed in Geneva made for several drawn breaths — the $400,000 (Rs 2.5 crore) price-tag. Initially, the Ford GT was expected by many to be priced at a little over half that much.

With 320 PS and four-wheel-drive, this has got to be the most extreme Focus yet. More so because it uses the 2.3-litre turbo-four engine from the new Mustang EcoBoost. A 0-100 km/h time of about 4.5 seconds and a tiny wheelbase mean this could become Ken Block’s new favourite toy, among many others.
