The next wave of hatchbacks from Suzuki will draw inspiration from this, the iK-2 concept. Maruti-Suzuki have a plethora of products in every affordable segment and while they’re all finding their place, things will get all the more contemporary very soon. We also expect more advanced and even more frugal three-cylinder engines to join the fray.

No, it’s not a revolutionary compact and electric BMW M4, but an eye-catching compact crossover from Suzuki. Whether it signifies four-wheel-drive or not, we’ll have to wait and see, but it will spawn a new all-road compact in an age when they’re truly becoming a rage. Expect three- and four-pot motors, though. Their new in-house diesel could be an interesting inclusion too.
