Audi RS 7_Front Head On

The latest RS 7 from Audi reminded me so much of Marvel’s Black Widow that I fell in love with it. Is it really that great a car? Well, we put it through its paces to find out

If you are a fan of Marvel’s ‘Avengers’, then you will surely remember Natasha Romanova, a k a the Black Widow. She is a trained assassin and has the looks, agility, skills and power to overcome most human beings. But when she is not fighting ugly criminals, she is one of the most elegant ladies I can think of. She looks gorgeous and her style is simply breath-taking. Her simple yet athletic appearance can fool anyone into thinking that she is just a beautiful damsel.

But which car would you term as the automotive equivalent of Natasha Romanova? Well, in my opinion, Audi’s RS 7 perfectly fits the bill. Much of the aforementioned qualities of the Black Widow can be applied to the RS 7, and with the recent update her beauty has been elevated to yet another level. To know the new Audi RS 7 better, I sacrificed a hot summer morning just to spend some time with this German beauty.
Stunning, it simply looks stunning. Although Audi haven’t really done much to change the look of this scintillating sportback, I was taken aback by the simplicity of the design, which evoked so much emotion that I just kept gazing at it while Sanjay was busy capturing the car through his lens. The new RS 7 gets beautiful new eyes in the form of the new Matrix LED headlamps, seen before on the A8 Limo. These lights perfectly incorporate the dynamic turn indicators, which instead of just flashing like a light bulb, sweep across the arrangement in the indicated direction. The slim design of the headlamps and the Y-shaped daytime running lights (DRL) do not exude a contemporary feel; instead they look pretty futuristic.
