GM plan to give the Captiva a midlife makeover soon. As the picture shows, the new Captiva has undergone some serious cosmetic changes with the front now sporting an aggressive, oversized grille. In addition to this, it gets a completely restyled headlight assembly.
There are changes in the interior too, but nothing major. The new Captiva internationally gets a new 2.2-litre diesel engine and an extra cog, which helps in bettering its efficiency. It remains to be seen whether this version will be launched in India.
We feel that the new Captiva will hit Indian shores by September next year and it will create competition for the Toyota Fortuner, which tops the sales chart in the SUV segment as of now.
