Mercedes-Benz At CES
Mercedes-Benz announced various updates and also showcased some new vehicles at CES 2017, and also gave a second teaser to the highly anticipated AMG-powered Hypercar which is propelled by the 1.6-litre V6 hybrid turbo engine seen in the Formula 1 cars driven by Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton to a 1-2 finish in the 2016 F1 World Driver’s Championship.
Mercedes-Benz EQ
Mercedes-Benz showcased their all-electric SUV, called the EQ, which was developed in partnership with nVidia for an AI-powered car. The EQ concept was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September 2016 and the concept has once again appeared at CES 2017. Mercedes claim the vehicle will be launched in 2019, and that the concept is close-to-production. The EQ claims to have a range of 499 km.
Mercedes-Benz Vision Van
Mercedes-Benz also showcased the Vision Van at CES 2017. The Vision is an all-electric delivery van boasting various high-tech features such as including a drone on the roof of the vehicle which can automatically pick-up and drop packages and an automated cargo-bay that loads packages. The Vision Van has a range of 270 km per charge.
