Jaguar’s new F-type Coupé has had positive receptions from car enthusiasts the world over. During an exclusive event in London, the English automobile hotshots officially launched the car, and announced Chelsea F.C. Manager Jose Mourinho as the latest in the stellar cast of brand ambassadors for the company.
Following the announcement that Mourinho would also be the first customer in the UK to receive the new F-Type Coupé, the Chelsea supremo was asked for his take on the car, gave a typical, quick-witted response. He said, “How can this old man drive such a cool car,” and when asked about how it drives, he added, “It drives like a great player because it does what I want it to do.”
He wasn’t the only sports personality present at the event either, as Ex-Tottenham Hotspur striker and acclaimed sports presenter Gary Lineker, OBE, was also present, along with British boxing maestro and Olympic Gold medallist Anthony Joshua, MBE. The special guests at the event also included know faces from the music industry in Mista jam and Example, among others.
Jaguar also showcased their latest advert, part of their ‘Good To Be Bad’ campaign starring A-list baddies like Sir Ben Kingsley, Tom Hiddleston, and Mark Strong. Keeping in mind Mourinho’s sporadic media outbursts and pantomime villain reputation, looks like Jaguar have added another feather to that particular cap.

The 5-litre V8 supercharged F-type Coupé rolls out at the end of March later this year.
