BMW Group India has announced a price hike of up to five percent across all the products of the BMW and MINI brand. The hike will be effective from the 1st of Jan 2015.

With the price increase, BMW Group will maintain its premium positioning in the Indian luxury car segment.”
This hike will affect BMW’s current line-up which includes the 1 Series, 3 Series, and 3 Series Gran Turismo, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, and X5. All locally-produced at BMW Plant Chennai. Also part of the BMW India line-up is6 Series Gran Coupe, the Active Hybrid 7, X6, Z4, M3 Sedan, M4 Coupe, M5 Sedan and M6 Gran Coupe, which are available in the country as Completely Built-up Units. The 6 Series Individual and the 7 Series Individual can also be ordered as CBUs. These are currently sold across the country via the 37 outlets of the company. BMW plans to up the number to 50 by 2015.
The premium brand MINI is sold via four outlets in metropolitan cities- Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. The product range of the MINI is limited to the 3-door, 5-door, convertible and the Countryman, all which will also cost that little bit more as a result of this price revision.
