The LA Auto Show will see Bentley Motors introduce their most exclusive offering in open-top motoring yet.
Christened the Grand Convertible, the new car is essentially a Mulsanne without a roof and rear doors. As one would expect out of a car from this marque’s fine stable, it features bespoke craftsmanship and the finest of material, allowing four occupants to experience drop-top bliss. The long flowing body has been paid careful attention to and the lines look just as elegant on the Grand after its transformation, as they do on the Mulsanne.
The Grand Convertible also gets it due potential from its motor. Under the bonnet is the big 6¾-litre twin-turbo V8 from the Mulsanne Speed, complete with 537 PS and a dyno-bashing 1,100 Nm of torque which lends it absolutely effortless performance. While the Continental GTC may be a grand way to travel, it isn’t quite this Grand. We bet the Rolls Drophead is wide-eyed right now.
