The Tata Motors Sierra EV Concept has been showcased at this year’s Auto Expo. The stunning vehicles highlight Tata’s push towards the green movement.
The Tata Sierra which was originally introduced in 1991 was Tata Motors first SUV that had been made in India. Hence, indeed the name does have heritage slapped upon the face.
The Tata Sierra EV Concept is truly a legacy reborn for the Indian car giant, which now sports a futuristic avatar. A concept based on Tata’s Agile Light Flexible Advanced Architecture (ALFA ARC), this is a fully automatic SUV which we hope to see in production soon.
The interiors offer a host of new features with the front seat being able to do a u-turn. The styling still pays massive homage to the original Sierra, albeit with sleek lines and the works.
Tata Motors should have more information out soon and maybe see a version of the concept in the future.
