Audi India start the new year launching the limited edition R8 LMX, which is the fastest and the most powerful Audi in the company’s line-up.
The R8 LMX is powered by the Lamboprghini Gallardo Superleggera’s 5.2-litre, FSI V10 producing 570 PS and 540 Nm of torque, mated to the 7-speed S-tronic transmission which drives the quattro intelligent all-wheel drive system. The LMX breaks the 0-100 km/h barrier in 3.4 seconds and races away to a top speed of 320 km/h.
The R8 LMX is the first production car to feature laser high-beam lighting as standard. At speeds above 60 km/h, the laser-light spots supplement the LED high beam, offering twice the range, enhancing visibility and safety. Apart from the laser light headlamps, the R8 LMX boasts of front lip-spoiler and large carbon-fibre rear wing as well as a diffuser in matte carbon-fibre, and high-gloss black tailpipes.

The Audi R8 LMX is priced at Rs 2.97 crore (ex-showroom). Only 99 LMXs will be offered globally.
